M1 is offering great promotion over the weekend..
1) 120 off your handphone bills
2) Suntalk student plan looks very gd
3) Really cheap hp

So we spend a lot of time looking ard for suitable hp at the Paragon M1 shop.. they quoted me 100 bucks for my current model so I figured I can get something in the range of 100-200.. They were a few choices..

1) A Samsung one that cost only 28 bucks
2) The Nokia 6000 series flip phone
3) Motorola v975, a 3G phone

I was really gian of that 3G phone lor!! hello! Its a 3G phone leh.. :grin1 And it cost only 168!!! Then the staff told us its the last piece already.. :eek1 So I was really considering hard.. But the factors that push me away from it is..

1) What if I lost it one day?
2) What if its actually a lousy hp cos I didnt research for this phone?
3) I cannot use the 3G call service since she also dun have a 3G hp..

In the end, I didnt get any of the hp.. will wait and see if next time got better offer a not lor.. but today not so bad lar.. I exchanged 12 Getrade (whatever spelling) labels for $30 Nike BIRD voucher.. then bought a nice tennis tee shirt for myself.. :smile1 Can’t wait to wear it.. hehe

So next week this are the list of things to do…
1) Finish my HYP assignment
2) Fix Caryn’s blog
3) Fix ASP guestbook
4) Cut hair (thinking of highlighting.. )

Hopefully thats all.. have to consider what modules to take also.. school reopening soon.. haiz.. one more year.. Hope can do well and get a gd job man.. times are hard.. :poop:

I find it so interesting how things can quickly changed.. like for example yesterday I was surfing around during work (eat snake) then I only got to realise she will be having a concert on August 10th, so I was contemplating if I should bring someone to go watch.. she does not seem to be too interested so I decided against that idea.. then this morning I checked.. Its SOLD OUT :psycho1 SO FAST AH! So I think maybe its fated I should not spend the money to go watch a superb Singapore singer sing wonderful, soothing songs in case I fall asleep in the theatre.. :grin1

Her songs sort of reminded me of the Teenage Textbook songs.. its like Singapore songs all have a certain feel to it which we seems to be able to relate to (at least to me).. my personal fave track now is..

And to add on for today’s entry.. so much interesting news today!! There is the Huang Na trial plus NKF vs SPH trial!!! I love to read the court proceedings.. reminds me of The Practise.. :smile1 And WTF is the CEO getting 12 months bonus!!! :thumbdown: ITS TWELVE months of bonus leh.. its is salary x 12 = bonus.. I feel so angry about this but it is all unavoidable.. This all boils down to the problem of lack of transparency as well as private sector competition thus the govt and its companies are all able to monopolise the situation in Sillypore.. I want to leave this place that was last told to me by my teachers to be a paradise.. its far from it..

That would be the year I am 31.. seems such a huge number but just 7 years away.. I have lots of dreams.. like going London with her to go see Olympics.. or bring her to Greece Athens and check out the scenerio.. this are really all the dreams that I have.. but I really hope that we are already married by then.. ideally let me work 2-3 years then maybe we can get married, then get a small 3-room house so that we can live peacefully together.. just the 2 of us.. then dinner we can go her parents place eat lor.. haha save a bit on cost mah.. but not always go la.. sometimes will bring her out to eat also.. or else can just cook something simple together.. shld be quite fun..

The thing is I am still studying.. I also dunno how much I will earn next time.. so its hard to visualise this dream now.. haiz :sad1

Today is almost the last day of work already.. just now one of my colleague brought me and another 2 colleagues go Ikea eat.. so nice rite all of them? I got 3 lunch treats from the office already.. 2 at Chinese Resturant.. 1 at Ikea.. and the person who treat me at Ikea is this really friendly woman in her mid-30s bah.. then she is going overseas also.. so this will be the last time I am seeing her.. because she has to go somewhere else after the lunch treat.. then she wish me all the best next time.. in those very sincere tone and facial expression.. really quite touched by all of them.. I will get something and bring on Monday for them.. This is the best working place that I have stepped in thus far.. Hopefully next time maybe I got chance to work here again..

I think all of you would have heard that London pip Paris for the 2012 Olympic venue.. but if you have wondered why Paris lost after being favourite for so long.. one possible reason that I came out with is that When it NY was ousted from the last 3, the NY voters went to London instead of Paris because France was against IRAQ war while Britian was a close friend to them. NY voters tend towards London thus leaving Paris empty handed. Not the best of explanation but political reasons were one of the factor Paris lost.. hope they can be 4th time lucky..

Steven Gerrard finally decided to stay? I mean seriously.. I find all his explanation for the amazing u-turn to be bullshit. My view is that
1) He wants to go Chelsea and not Real Madrid
2) Once a bigger contract was offered from Liverpool, he decided to try his luck by letting out news he wants to leave.
3) Chelsea came in with a bigger bid that Liverpool rejected, most probably wanting him to go to Real and not stay in England.
4) Steve realises that it is impossible to leave to Chelsea decided to take the bigger contract. Win-win situation for him.

Coming to the last week.. must say I am getting a bit sianz of 8-6 jobs.. quite boring if the office is like filled with much older people.. time is like :turtle: so slowly.. now I am waiting for 5pm so that I can go meet my Prof for HYP.

Very sian to go meet him also.. haiz.. I need more time to study on HYP but having intern means not much time mah.. hope he can understand lor… Its been 3 weeks since I last saw him.. postponed 1 week meeting cause cannot finish my assignment then.. not that its completely finished now.. hope that later meeting goes thru smoothly.. :err1
